The Heat Leadership Team

head-carl

Carl Delmont, Owner of the Harrisburg Heat

As you may have heard, I have acquired The Harrisburg Heat and wanted to introduce myself as well as to thank you for your past support.  John Wilsbach has done an outstanding job while wearing many hats during his ownership and he will remain with the organization as VP and announcer. John and I have known each other a long time and he knows my passion for soccer, so this transition and collaboration was bound to happen!  I look forward to working with John and others as we Turn Up The Heat and take the franchise to exciting levels.

We have many great things planned for the upcoming season to create an improved fan experience,  all while chasing post season wins!  We hope that you support our team and efforts and look forward to seeing you at a game very soon–Kickoff in November!

In the interim, check back to our website, sign up for our Fan News and follow us on Facebook!
Sincerely,
Carl Delmont — Harrisburg Heat

John Wilsbach, Vice President of the Harrisburg Heat

Veteran broadcaster John Wilsbach helped bring pro indoor soccer back to Harrisburg in 2012. Prior to the start of the 2013 season, Wilsbach acquired the Harrisburg Heat from the PASL. After the team’s second season, the PASL and MISL folded and the MASL was born. Wilsbach is the only person in the 16 year history of the Harrisburg Heat to see every game, dating back to 1991. During the team’s game January 10, 2015, in San Diego, Wilsbach served as interim head coach during a one game suspension for head coach Tarik Walker. Wilsbach also broadcasted 2 seasons of the Hershey Impact and 7 seasons of the Philadelphia Kixx. Area commuters know John for his award winning traffic reporting on WINK 104, 105.7X, HOT 93.5, and NASH 106.7. He’s also the GM of the Middletown School District’s radio station WMSS and serves as the voice of the Middletown Blue Raiders and Lebanon Valley College football and women’s basketball. The Middletown native was the first goalkeeper in Blue Raider history in 1982. He served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. He and his wife Michelle, and dog Tovi, live in Londonderry Twp.
