Harrisburg Beats Division Rival Blast 5-4

The Harrisburg Heat defeated the Baltimore Blast Friday night by a score of 5-4 in a tightly contested matchup.

The Heat got off to a strong start, with Malcolm Harris and Danny DiPrima each scoring in the second period to put Harrisburg up 2-0. The Blast struck back with goals from Max Ferdinand and Juan Pereira to tie the game up at 2. Malcolm Harris scored his second goal of the night to put the Heat back on top, only for Max Ferdinand to equalize shortly after. In the fourth period, Jamie Thomas scored to level the score yet again, but Danny DiPrima’s power play goal in the 7th minute of the fourth period sealed the victory for the Harrisburg Heat.

Heat Take Down Tropics In OT

The Harrisburg Heat and Florida Tropics went head-to-head in a thrilling match, with the Heat eventually emerging as 4-3 victors.

Harrisburg got off to a strong start, with Bradley Kerstetter scoring his goal off an assist from David Mellor, and Dominic Francis finding the back of the net with an assist from Malcolm Harris. The Tropics fought back, with Ricardo De Queiroz Diegues scoring off an assist from Lucio Gonzaga and Skylar Funk scoring with an assist from Ricardo Carvalho to put the Tropics in the lead.

However, the Heat were not to be outdone and David Mellor scored an equalizing power play goal in the fourth period with an assist from Malcolm Harris to level the score.

Danny DiPrima’s extra-time goal sealed the victory for the Heat, who ran out 4-3 winners with an assist from Matt Braem.
