Heat Improve Record To 3-1

The Harrisburg Heat defeated the Rochester Lancers 8-4 on Saturday night at the Farm Show Arena.  The Heat were led by Ty Hall and Dom Francis with each scoring two goals.  Other Harrisburg goals were scored by Julian Escobar, William Eskay, Marcel Berry and Elton de Oliveira.  Jeremy Ortiz led the Rochester team with two goals while Michael Cunningham and Anthony Rozzano each scored a goal.  Assists for the Heat were recorded by Tom Mellor with two along with Matt Braem, Danny DiPrima, Daniel Villela and Nelson Santana with one assist each.  In addition, Eskay and de Oliveira also contributed assists in the game.

The first half ended with the Harrisburg Heat in the lead by a score of 2-1.  The Heat broke open the game with four goals in the third quarter.  The Heat continue to play well defensively.  Jesus Molina had four saves in the game and Elton de Oliveira recorded a team leading six blocks.  The win advanced the Harrisburg Heat record to three wins and one defeat.

The Heat have a week off before returning to the field with away games in Rochester and Utica on December 27th and 28th.  The next home game for the Heat is scheduled for January 18th versus Soles De Sonora of Mexico.
