Lester Felician Brings Over 20 Years Of Coaching Experience

lesterThe Harrisburg Heat have added former Harrisburg soccer player and long-time area coach Lester Felician to it’s coaching staff.

“Lester brings both playing and coaching experience to our franchise. From playing for The Heat, to coaching both college and clubs in Harrisburg, we know Lester is a great addition to help The Heat on the field and in the community,” said Head Coach Denison Cabral.

Felician comes to the Harrisburg Heat with tremendous experience having played professionally, both in the United States and as a player for the Trinidad and Tobago National Team.

Felician played for Belhaven College in Mississippi where he was an all-conference performer and is still the all-time leader in assists. He then went on to play professionally for 7 years with stints with the Jackson Chargers, New Orleans Storm, Cleveland Crunch, Lehigh Valley Steam, Kansas City Attack, Harrisburg Heat and Baltimore Blast. Along with his professional experience in the U.S., Felician also played on the Olympic team and national senior team for 6 year in Trinidad and Tobago. Coach Felician ended his professional career due to a knee injury in 2005.

Coach Felician has coached at the Bascome Pro Soccer School and was the head soccer coach at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA. He is founder of the Lester Felician Soccer Academy, a organization focused on developing players’ skills, technique, and tactical decision making through high level, competitive training. Felician is a United States Soccer Federation licensed coach.
