The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that Tyler Turner, who was acquired in a trade last season with the St. Louis Ambush for Richard Schmermund, will play for the Harrisburg Heat this season.
Tyler Turner began his professional soccer career signing and playing for the USL and MLS Orlando City FC as well as well as LA Galaxy II. Turner then moved to the Major Arena Soccer League playing for the Orlando SeaWolves, Milwaukee Wave and the St. Louis Ambush.
Harrisburg Head Coach and General Manager Pat Healey is pleased that Tyler Turner will be playing for the Heat this season. Healey said: “Tyler is a big addition that we were able to get in the trade last season. He is a veteran player that can make a huge impact on both sides of the field. He brings a calming presence to the back line and the competitive drive to help the team win games. I look forward to having him with us this season.”
