The Harrisburg Heat is gearing up for an exciting season ahead. With just twenty-three days until their opening game, anticipation is building and fans can’t wait to see their favorite players back in action, along with new additions to the team.

The MASL Pro-Player Combine Draft occurred last month in Utica, NY. This event is pivotal for the league and its teams as it serves as a platform for identifying and signing both domestic and international players for the upcoming 2023-24 MASL season.

Harrisburg Heat General Manager and Head Coach was pleased with the combine and the players that the Heat drafted.  Healey said “I thought the combine was a huge success.  The MASL did a great job of organizing and executing the whole weekend.  We were able to identify top talent.  In my mind, Davinson Diaz was the best player by far.  He is a very smart player who is able to set up his teammates and score on his own.  For the other rounds, I think Erik, Alejandro and Blake will be able to compete for roster spots.  Overall, a great combine for the league and the Harrisburg Heat.”

During the draft, Harrisburg selected the following players to bring to their training camp beginning Monday, November 13th.

Davinson Diaz, a left-footed defender/midfielder from Colombia brings a diverse set of skills to the field.  Diaz gained valuable experience with the Colorado Futsal Academy in the NFPL.

Erik Ribeiro is a defender/midfielder who calls West Hartford, CT home. He has an impressive college background with NCAA Division One experience at the University of Hartford from 2014 to 2018.

Blake Hylton is a goalkeeper from New Haven, CT. Blake gained his college experience playing NCAA Division One soccer at Fairleigh Dickenson and Quinnipiac University.

Alejandro Arbelaez is a defender/midfielder who hails from Baltimore, MD. Alejandro Arbelaez possesses a rich background gained from experience at the NCAA Division One level with UMBC. Alejandro also has past professional experience with the Baltimore Blast and the Maryland Bobcats

The MASL stretches across North America with teams in the United States and Mexico.  The Harrisburg Heat begin their season on the road in Utica on December 2nd.  The Heat home opener is Saturday, December 9th at 7:05 PM against the Kansas City Comets.  All home games are played at the Equine Arena in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.  For ticket information, please contact the Heat at tickets@harrisburgheat.com.
