The Comets scored the winning goal with just 3.03 left in the game from Robert Palmer.
Harrisburg trailed 6-4 but through goals from Dylan Hundelt and Dominic Francis (who had a hat-trick a night prior) tied the game at six all, but it would the home side that would come out with the win.
Also scoring for Harrisburg was a cast of rookies in William Eskay, Vesko Konov and Matt Braem. The Heat opened their scoring through veteran Tom Mellor.
Matt Perrella made 10 saves in the defeat for Harrisburg.
Harrisburg returns to action this weekend with another double-away weekend. On Saturday, the club returns to Canada for a 3.05pm EST kick-off against the Metro Stars. Then on Sunday, the Heat will be in Utica to battle the division leading Utica City FC with a 2pm kickoff. Both matches can be watched on masltv.com
