ROOKIE PLAYED AT DALTON STATE COLLEGE

The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that they have signed defender, Zach Perry, to a multi year contract. Per team and league policies, financials terms of the agreements are not disclosed.

Perry, who is from Oviedo, Florida, played his college soccer at Dalton State College. During his career at Dalton, Perry was named NAIA third team All-American. Dalton State advanced to the NAIA national quarterfinals this season before losing a heartbreaking penalty shot contest to St. Thomas.

Harrisburg Heat Head Coach and General Manager, Pat Healey, said: “Zach came in for a trial a few weeks ago and did very well. He has the desire to be a very good player in this league. Zach had a very successful college career at Dalton State College and I think his talent is very suitable for the indoor game.”

Zach Perry said: “I’m very excited and blessed for the opportunity the Harrisburg Heat organization has given me. I look forward to putting in the hard work and making the most of this opportunity. Can’t wait to meet all the Heat fans and finish out the rest of the season strong.”

The MASL stretches across North America with teams in the United States and Mexico. The Harrisburg Heat’s next home games are February 23rd and 24th. For ticket information, please contact the Heat at tickets@harrisburgheat.com.
