Heat Play In Milwaukee Sunday

The Harrisburg Heatwere defeated by the St. Louis Ambush by a score of 9-6.  The Heat took an early lead in the game but the Ambush led 3-2 after the first quarter and 5-3 at halftime.  After being down 8-3 early in the fourth quarter, the Heat mounted a late comeback that fell just short.  With three goals on their sixth attacker offense, Harrisburg cut the lead to 8-6.  After nearly getting the game within one goal when Tavoy Morgan’s shot hit the crossbar, St. Louis scored an open net goal by Oitomeia Souza to end the scoring for the night.  The loss puts the Heat at 9-6 and they remain tied for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.  The top four teams make the playoffs.

The Heat were led offensively by Daniel Villela, Dom Francis and Morgan.  Francis and Morgan each had two goals in the game and Villela recorded four assists.  Additional goals were scored by Elton de Oliveira and JJ Gibson.  De Oliveira and Gibson also each had an assist in the match.  Defensively, Danny DiPrima and Dylan Hundelt had three and two blocks respectively.  William Banahene had twelve saves in the goal for Harrisburg.

Duduca Carvalho scored three goals and had one assist to lead the St. Louis offense.  Other Ambush goals were scored by Douglas Dos Santos with two and Pablo Da Silva, Stefan St. Louis, Ado Jahic and Souza with one goal each.  Paulo Nascimento made fourteen saved in the goal for the Ambush.

The Heat remain on the road as they play their third game in four days when they visit Milwaukee to take on the Wave on Sunday.   Kick off is at 6:07 P.M.
