The Harrisburg Heat defeated the Baltimore Blast by a score of 7-4 in a match up of Eastern Conference teams.  The win puts the Heat at 8-4 and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.  The top four teams make the playoffs.

This was a game of runs as the Heat jumped out to a 3-0 lead.  The Baltimore Blast responded by scoring the next three goals to tie the game.  Not to be denied, the Heat once again scored three straight goals to take the lead.

The teams traded goals at the end resulting in the victory for the Heat.  A key moment in the game happened in the third quarter when the Heat were called for a two minute penalty and the Blast were on a power play with four minutes and thirty four seconds left in the quarter.

The Heat once again showed why they have the top defensive power play unit in the league and were able to deny the Blast from scoring on the power play.

The Heat were led in scoring by Tavoy Morgan as he recorded a hat trick in the game.  Also scoring for the Heat were JJ Gibson, William Eskay, Dom Francis and Danny DiPrima.  Pat Thompson led the team with two assists in the game.  Daniel Villela, Morgan and Eskay also had assists for the Heat.  For Baltimore, Vini Dantas scored three goals and Victor France had one.

It was another good defensive night for the Heat.  The Heat had 13 blocked shots with Thompson, Francis and Elton de Oliveira getting five, three and two blocks respectively.  William Banahene had another good night in the nets as he had fifteen saves.
