Wednesday’s Game Begins 4-Game Homestand

The Harrisburg Heat are looking forward to coming home to the Farm Show Arena for their final four regular season games in the Major Arena Soccer League.  On Wednesday, the Heat take on Utica City FC.  Kick off is 7:05 P.M.    The Heat currently have a record of 12-8 and are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.  Utica is 14-5 and in second place in the conference.  The teams have played three times this season all in Utica and Utica City FC have won all three games.  The top four teams advance to the playoffs.  The game can be viewed on line at masltv.com.

The Heat are being led offensively this season by Dom Francis, Daniel Villela and Tavoy Morgan.  Francis has 34 goals on the year which puts him fourth in the league in goals scored.  Villela has 26 assists which ranks him third in the league.  Tavoy Morgan has scored 18 goals in just 12 games.  William Banahene has an outstanding goals against average of 5.43 and is listed seventh in goalkeeper statistics.  In addition, Elton de Oliveira and Dylan Hundelt have also protected the goal well as they have recorded 37 and 23 blocks respectively.

Utica City FC are having an excellent season and they are led by Cristhian Segura, Bo Jelovac and Moises Gonzalez on the offensive end of the field.  Segura and Gonzalez have scored 25 and 22 goals respectively while Jelovac has registered 21 assists.  In the nets, Andrew Coughlin is having another outstanding season with a goals against average of 4.88.

The next Heat home game is Sunday at 5:05 P.M.  The Dallas Sidekicks visit the Farm Show Arena. In addition to the excitement and importance of the games this week, the Heat will be honoring the 1st Responders on Sunday.  The Heat players will be wearing special 1st Responders jerseys for the game.  All Fans will also have the opportunity to win the special 1st Responders jerseys.  The jerseys are being auctioned off through http://livesourceapp.com.  You can bid on the jerseys at the game or anywhere with the live source app.  The jersey auction  will conclude at 6:45 P.M. on Sunday night.
