Harrisburg Takes On Dallas Sunday In Critical Match For Playoffs
The Harrisburg Heat defeated Utica City FC 5-3 in a game played at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg. After being down 2-1 at the half, the Heat outscored Utica 4-1 in the second half to secure the victory. The win improved the Heat record to 13-8 and Utica fell to 14-6 on the season. On Sunday, the Heat play the Dallas Sidekicks at 5:05 P.M. The top four teams advance to the playoffs. The Heat are currently in fifth place just one game behind the Baltimore Blast and one and a half game behind the Milwaukee Wave and Utica City FC.
Heat goals were scored by Tavoy Morgan, Dylan Hundelt, Ty Hall, Nelson Santana and goalkeeper William Banahene. Dom Francis and Patrick Thompson recorded assists in the game. In addition to scoring a goal in the open net as the game was ending, William Banahene had twelve saves in the goal.
Utica City FC goals were scored by Uros Momic, Darren Toby and Moises Gonzalez. Jake Schindler and Gonzalez also had assists in the game.
The Heat home game on Sunday will feature the Heat honoring the 1st Responders. A half time game is planned and the Heat will wear special uniforms that will be auctioned off to all fans.
