The MASL announced that the SporTurf Player of the Week for Week Nine is Harrisburg Heat defender, Nelson Santana. This is the first Player of the Week award for Santana and the Heat this season.

Two straight nights at home and two straight wins for the Harrisburg Heat as they defeat their I-83 rival Baltimore Blast 8-6 in front of 3,027 fans at the New Holland Arena.

Ricardo Carvalho, Tavoy Morgan, William Eskay, Daniel Villela, Dominic Francis and Patrick Thompson all scored in the Friday night thriller.

The next meeting in the I-83 series sees the first game of the season in Harrisburg. Last time out, the sides were level at 5 until a power play goal with five minutes left gave the Blast a 6-5 win in Towson.

Game 4 of 6 on the season between the two sides, with Harrisburg looking to get a win while returning back to their home arena in central PA. Harrisburg was ever so close against City FC losing 6-4 on January 13th after trailing into the fourth quarter.
