The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that they have extended the contract of Malcolm Harris for three years.  Per team and league policies, financials terms of the agreements are not disclosed.

Malcolm Harris played his initial season with the Heat during the 2019/2020 Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season.  His five assists, one goal and outstanding defensive play led him to be selected as Honorable Mention for the MASL All Rookie team.

Harrisburg Head Coach and General Manager Pat Healey is excited about extending the contract of Harris.  Healey said: “Re-signing Malcolm was an important priority for us.  He is part of the nucleus we are creating for the team.  His ability and versatility are huge for what we are trying to do.  I look for him to have a major impact in the next few years.”

“I’m excited to have re-signed with the Harrisburg Heat” said Harris.  “First and foremost, I’d like to thank Pat and Kevin Healey for believing in me and offering me the opportunity to keep playing the game I love.  I look forward to being back in Harrisburg with the team and continuing the work we started.  Thank you Heat Nation!”

The MASL stretches across North America with teams in the United States and Mexico.  The 2021-2022 MASL schedule is expected to be announced in September.  The Heat regular season will begin in December and end in early April.  For ticket information, please contact the Heat at tickets@harrisburgheat.com.
