The Harrisburg Heat battled neck-and-neck with the Baltimore Blast through three quarters, but a fourth-quarter surge by the visitors proved to be the difference in a 7–4 loss on Saturday night. Tied 4–4 heading into the final frame, Baltimore rattled off three unanswered goals to close out the game and escape with the win.
Baltimore jumped out to a 2–0 lead early in the first thanks to goals from Eber Ospina and Nico Williams. Harrisburg responded quickly, with Mike Da-Silva scoring just nine seconds later, followed by a power play goal from Ozzy Annang to knot the game at 2–2. The back-and-forth continued through the second and third quarters, as Bruno Henrique and Jairo Guevara scored for the Blast, while Dominic Francis and Maldini Goncalves answered for the Heat.
In the fourth, the Blast took control. Henrique tallied his second of the game to break the tie, followed by goals from Victor Parreiras and Chad Poarch to put the game out of reach. The Heat struggled to generate quality chances in the final stretch and were outshot 6 5 in the fourth quarter, 24–20 overall.
The Heat return to action Saturday night at home against the Chihuahua Savage at 7:05 PM.
