In their sixth straight away game, Harrisburg was trailing the three-time defending Baltimore Blast 5-2 in the third quarter.  If anyone could question the Heat not making it a contest they’d have right to do so, but not this squad from central Pennsylvania.  Three straight goals made it a 5-5 game where it stayed until a power play goal from Andrew Hoxie with 5.15 left in the game, lifting the Blast to a 6-5 win.  A win that was inches away from another tie as Tavoy Morgan and Ricardo Carvalho each hit the frame of the goal in the final minutes.

Morgan is proving to be a revelation for the Heat as he scored two goals (five in his last three games) tonight at SECU Arena in Towson, Maryland.  Also on the score sheet for the Heat were William Eskay, Carvalho and Julian Escobar.  In net, William Banahene made several key stops in the second half and finished with eight saves for the Heat (1-7).

For Baltimore, Vini Dantas had a hat-trick to fuel the Blast win.  Jonathan Melo had two with Hoxie again netting the game winner.

The Heat are finally back at home this weekend with back to back home games this Friday and Saturday night at Farm Show Arena.  Friday is a 7.35pm kickoff against Utica City with the Blast coming to Harrisburg for a 7.05pm start next Saturday.  Tickets for both and all remaining games can be purchased at https://harrisburgheat.com/schedule/.
