Heat Split Their Two Weekend Games on the Road

The Harrisburg Heat travelled to Utica, New York to play Utica City FC  on Saturday evening.  The Heat were defeated by Utica 10-6 as their record moved to four wins and two losses on the season.  This defeat came after the Heat defeated Rochester Friday night.

Utica City FC had a 4-1 lead at halftime.  The Heat kept battling back but ultimately Utica City FC earned a hard fought victory.  Utica was led by Christian Segura who had two goals and four assists.  Also scoring two goals each for Utica were Jake Schindler, Ricardo Diegues and Liam Callahan.  For the Harrisburg Heat, defenders Dylan Hundelt and Pat Thompson each scored two goals.  One of Hundelt’s goals was a shorthanded goal as the Heat were killing a Utica City power play.  Additional goals for the Heat were scored by Ty Hall and Dom Francis.

Jesus Molina started the game in goal for the Heat.  He recorded 9 saves.

The Harrisburg Heat go on the road again next week as they travel to Rochester for a game on Saturday, January 4th.  The next home game for the Heat is Saturday, January 18th as Soles de Sonora from Mexico come to the Farm Show Arena.
