Heat Receive Cash And Player To Be Named Later

The Harrisburg Heat have traded forward Tavoy Morgan to the San Diego Sockers for a player to be named later and cash.  Per team and league policies, financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

Morgan played two seasons with the Harrisburg Heat, scoring forty-two goals and recording 15 assists.  During the 2020/2021 season, Morgan was loaned to the San Diego Sockers since the Heat were not playing due to COVID.  Morgan won a championship with the Sockers.  Morgan was entering the final year of his contract with the Harrisburg Heat.

Harrisburg Head Coach and General Manager Pat Healey said: “We wish Tavoy the best of luck in San Diego.  Tavoy was an excellent player for us and I am sure that he will continue to show his talents in San Diego.”

Owner, Carl Delmont added “I would like to thank the management of San Diego for their professionalism in handling this trade.”

Morgan said “I want to thank the Harrisburg Heat for helping start my career, and especially all the Harrisburg fans for all the love welcoming me every single game.”
