Thompson Formerly Played for MASL’s Heat, Silver Knights

The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce their first signing in the MASL Free Agency by announcing the return of former Heat standout Patrick Thompson today.  Thompson played the past two seasons with Syracuse and helped them get to the playoffs this past season.

“We planned on signing Patrick 2 years ago but missed out. At 9:01 am on opening day of Free Agency, I texted him to gauge his interest and everything worked out” states Heat GM Carl Delmont. “I’m excited by the number of talented players reaching out and telling me how they want to come to Harrisburg and help us return to the playoffs.”

Thompson can play multiple positions and brings with him the hustle and drive that the Heat desire adding “I’m excited to build something great with the team and the fans. I’ve always loved Harrisburg fans and I’m excited to get started.”

The Heat play in The MASL with the season extended to 24 games starting in December. Season Tickets can be found at harrisburgheat.com.
