Cabral Brings Extensive International Play and Coaching Experience

Denison Cabral, a native of Florianopolis, Brazil has been named Head Coach of the Harrisburg Heat.  He is recognized as one of the most popular players in the history of professional indoor soccer in Baltimore. His 18 year playing career, has taken him to over 22 different countries to play and train in both soccer and futsal.

“Denison brings the experience and ambition to take us to the postseason and one day soon, a Championship,” says Carl Delmont, Heat Owner.

The Heat is thrilled to add such a decorated player and coach to the franchise.  The 2014 Blast Hall of Famer had the distinction of being the face of the Baltimore Blast franchise.  Cabral is a six-time League All Star and is the all-time leading point scorer in Baltimore’s franchise history with more than 920 points in his Indoor Soccer career.  Denison ranks 25th in the all-time history of indoor soccer in points and has earned six All-Star honors and five Championships.

As a Futsal coach, Cabral has won many titles in the youth Futsal in America including several State, Regional and National Championship coaching boys and girls (most girls ages 12-19 range age group).
