Carl Delmont, owner of the Harrisburg Heat, is pleased to announce that Kevin Healey will be joining the Harrisburg Heat as President and Minority Owner. Kevin Healey leaves his position as President and General Manager of the Baltimore Blast. Healey moves on from the Blast after 20 years of service which saw the team win 9 championships and be a leader in the league in revenue generation.

Quote from Kevin Healey: “I would like to thank Ed Hale for giving me the great opportunity to be a part of the Baltimore Blast organization for twenty years. I also want to thank all of the front office staff, coaches and players for striving for and achieving excellence during this time. A huge thank you needs to go to the fans in Baltimore for supporting me and the Baltimore Blast franchise. The Blast are in good
hands.”

“Thank you to Carl Delmont for welcoming me to his Harrisburg Heat team as President and Minority Owner. I look forward to growing the Harrisburg Heat brand. Under the leadership of our commissioner, Josh Schaub, the Major Arena Soccer League continues to get stronger. Strengthening the Harrisburg franchise will enhance that process.”

Quote from Carl Delmont: “Kevin has always been a great friend and mentor to me as well as friendly counsel during my first two years in the MASL. To be able to work together and learn first hand is something that I look forward to and can’t wait to begin.”

“His accomplishments in Baltimore are unparalleled and I’m excited and happy for our fans, sponsors and players for what Kevin brings.”

“Ed Hale is not just a great friend but a great partner in the MASL. His willingness to help the Heat and allow Kevin this opportunity to become a minority owner are a testament to his character as well as his passion to strengthen our league. I’m deeply appreciative of his support and friendship.”

Quote from Ed Hale: “As much as Kevin and Pat Healey have been an integral part of our success at the Blast, they will be missed here. Going to the Harrisburg Heat, they add a new dimension on and off the field in new management. Along with Carl, the Harrisburg Heat will be a strong competitor.”

Quote from Josh Schaub, MASL Commissioner: “The MASL recognizes Kevin Healey’s move to Harrisburg as a positive step forward in solidifying Harrisburg in the Eastern conference on many fronts including the player and business side. Although Kevin leaves a legacy in Baltimore, we know Ed Hale, as he always has done, will continue to charge forward and contend for MASL Championships and bring massive crowds to MASL games for years to come. The MASL thanks Kevin for his contributions to arena soccer up to this point and look forward to many more.”
