The Harrisburg Heat announced today that midfielder Thiago has signed a multi-year contract to continue his playing career with the Heat. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not announced. The contract was consummated over the summer.

“I am happy to play with Harrisburg and work for another playoff season and hopefully Championship,” states Thiago.

Pronounced SHAY-ah-go, the veteran leader of the team enters his third season in the league, all with the Heat, and has earned numerous awards for his creative style of play.

“Thiago has great technical skills and can take over a game,” adds Heat CEO Carl Delmont. “He not only scores goals but creates opportunities for others to score as well.”

Last week the Heat added indoor soccer standout, Pat Healey as the team’s new Head Coach and General Manager. Along with today’s announcement, the team is continuing to strengthen the franchise for the immediate future.

The Harrisburg Heat will be hosting an Open Tryout and Combine September 22-23. For more information and to register, visitHarrisburgHeat.com.
