The Harrisburg Heat announced today signing of Defender Leo Duarte to a multi-year contract with the club. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not announced.

“I’m very excited to stay in Harrisburg where I love our fans and I’m happy to play for our new coach,” stated Duarte.

The talented midfielder began his Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) career with the Heat in 2016. Playing 21 games in his opening season, including all three playoff games.

“We are just as happy that he can continue with us,” adds Heat CEO Carl Delmont. “Typically, players tend to fully understand the game and have great seasons in their third year.”
