Friday night’s game got off to a promising start with a score by the Harrisburg Heat’s Elmo Neto. But by the end of the second quarter the Ambush led the game 3-1 after goals by France, Berko and Almeida. Shortly into the second half the score sat at 3-2 with Ambush leading.

However the remainder of the third quarter saw a reverse of fortunes as the Ambush repeatedly tried to connect and went scoreless. To the contrary, the Heat put three goals in the net with Dom Francis scoring the goal that took the Heat ahead 4-3. Chantal topped off the third quarter with another score.

The fourth quarter was an active one. Gatica pulled out a goal on power play to make it 7-3.

The Ambush had a last minute flurry with two late goals, the last by Almeida was made with just .01 left on the clock. In the end, the flurry came too late and the Heat triumphed, 7-5 final.

The Heat will take on Chicago Mustangs tomorrow night in Chicago, hoping to continue their winning road trip. Tune in on the MASL YouTube channel at 8:05 EST.
