December 5, 2016–The Harrisburg Heat’s December 10 game will leave everyone in attendance feeling like a Hero.  With the Central PA Avengers in attendance, The Heat will give money back from every ticket sold to the American Lung Association and the Arthritis Foundation.  Aiming to raise awareness and provide support to these important causes, the Heat feels that giving back to the community is the utmost of importance.

“I hope by the end of the season, the number of people and causes we have touched will be huge,”  said Carl Delmont, Heat CEO and GM.  “The FUNdraiser ticket option is always available for teams and nonprofits to take advantage of, and we already have quite a list of organizations we have given back to.”

The Heat FUNdraiser ticket works like this:  a group in need of support purchases a minimum of 25  $15.00 tickets and the Heat writes a check back for the organization, giving $5.00 per ticket back.  It’s a very easy way to raise money for any team or nonprofit.  Soccer and youth sports teams, Boy Scout troops, charitable organizations are just a few of the organizations who have already utilized the program successfully.

The game on December 10 takes the FUNdraiser to the next level where every ticket sold that evening will be a FUNdraiser ticket: $5.00 per ticket will be stewarded to either the American Lung Association or the Arthritis Foundation, and it is the choice of the person purchasing the ticket at the box office that evening.

The Central PA Avengers will be on hand to interact with the kids and make everyone feel like a Hero!

The Heat will face off against Syracuse with a 7:05 p.m. kickoff.  Tickets:  www.harrisburgheat.com.
