Heat Add Brazilian Standout Sandro Costa

Sandro Formerly Played For Top Brazilian Teams Including Sinop, Rio Branco and Santos

Heat announce the signing of Brazilian standout Sandro Costa today, subject to visa and League approval.

Sandro has played for some of the top teams in Brazil including Sinop, Rio Branco and Santos.

“Sandro is big, fast and extremely talented. His ability to play any position is a major asset for our team and I can’t wait to see him play in front of our fans,” said General Manager Carl Delmont.

Sandro adds, ” I watched The Heat from Brazil and I am ready to help my coaches and teammates any way I can. I look forward to meeting everyone soon.”

Harrisburg went from one win the prior year to playoffs last season under new ownership. With majority of team returning and some key signings, the Heat is focused on another postseason run.
