Heat midfielders Carvalho, Lucio, Gatica and Perez led the scoring for the Heat. But two goals in the fourth quarter by Syracuse’s Gonzalez made a 4-3 deficit into a 5-4 lead.
Syracuse scored 6th goal when Heat went to 6th attacker with just over two minutes left. Syracuse bested Harrisburg by a final of 6-4, after a Joey Tavernese interception and goal.
The Heat’s record now stands st 3-4 going into their next home game, facing off against the Baltimore Blast on Friday, December 30 @ 7:35pm.
